Green Life Farms has recalled its baby arugula due to potential salmonella contamination, according to an announcement by the United States Food & Drug Administration (FDA). The recalled baby arugula was sold in 4-ounce clear containers at select Publix locations from May 31 to June 15. The recall applies only to products marked with lot code LW15124, which is stamped on the top of the package. The product is also dated with a sell by date of June 15. Nearly 30,000 Cases of Cookie Dough Sold Nationwide Have Been Recalled Due to Possible Salmonella Contamination Per the FDA, the product was recalled because it has the potential to be contaminated with salmonella. Salmonella are a group of bacteria that can cause gastrointestinal illness and fever called salmonellosis, according to the FDA. Symptoms typically occur within 12 to 72 hours after infection and include diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps. Most people recover without medication.
