The recall affects about 1.9 million 500 milliliter water bottles sold in 24-pack cases. The products were sold on Amazon.com from February 1, 2024, through March 3, 2024. and can be identified by the following information. Case UPC Code: 6 32565 00004 3Bottle UPC Code: 6 32565 00001 2Dates: November 11, 2023, November 12, 2023, November 13, 2023, November 24, 2023, and November 25, 2023 This is an update to a previous recall that occurred in March that didn't pose adverse health or safety risks to the public. This recall is being classified by the FDA as Class III, which is for products that violate federal regulations but are unlikely to cause adverse health consequences. Manganese is a mineral the body needs to stay healthy. To date, studies have not shown any harm from the manganese in food and beverages, but some people have developed manganese toxicity by consuming water containing very high levels of manganese.
